Litigation

The Firm has a long history and expertise in all forms of litigation. The Firm acts for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in relation to personal injury claims of all types.

The Firm will assist Plaintiffs in any application which has to be made to the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and would advise in the strongest possible terms that any Plaintiff requires the assistance of their Solicitor to ensure that the client receives adequate compensation for all injury and loss suffered.

In addition to acting for Plaintiffs, the Firm also carries out defence work and is a member of the Panel Solicitors for one of the largest insurance companies operating in the Irish market.

Injunctions

If an urgent matter arises, we are able to advise on the possibility of obtaining an injunction before the Courts.

Criminal Law

The Firm attends all the District Courts in County Sligo and attends the Circuit Court in Counties Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim and Roscommon.

Defamation

The Firm advises on all matters relating to Defamation cases where allegations of libel and/or slander have been made.

Judicial Review Proceedings

The Firm advises on all aspects of Judicial review proceedings which can be taken where somebody, statutory or otherwise, makes a finding outside their powers and it is necessary to challenge this finding judicially.
